Bob S. Effendi,  has over 25 years of experience in nuclear and clean energy. Transitioning from executive roles to entrepreneurship, he founded PT Xpert Synergy Solution in 2024, a consultancy focused on advancing nuclear energy adoption through strategic advisory and project development. Over the past 10 years, he has been involved with Thorcon, leading efforts in Indonesia that have positioned the company in the country's nuclear energy discussions. As the Chief Operating Officer of PT Thorcon Power Indonesia, he was instrumental in securing national strategic status for Indonesia’s first nuclear power plant and facilitated cross-border collaborations for nuclear projects in Southeast Asia. He also contributed to the National Commission on Economic & Industries, authoring presidential policy briefs on energy transitions and mining reforms.

With a background in Computer Engineering combines technical expertise with strategic leadership in nuclear project development, regulatory strategy, public policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and business innovation. He is the Founder of the Indonesia New Energy Nuclear Society (MEBNI) and a former member of KADIN Renewable Energy Task Force and member of Indonesia Nuclear Society (HIMNI). Outside the energy sector, he has participated in political advocacy, managing campaigns on energy policy reforms and public health initiatives.
