José Antonio Millán Ruano is a distinguished leader in the Renewable Energy sector, with a prolific career spanning nearly two decades. As executive, he has played a pivotal role at leading companies including Valfortec, Univergy, and Hinode Energy. 

José Antonio's expertise lies in strategically managing company interests, fostering business development, and nurturing teams to achieve excellence. He has been instrumental in winning photovoltaic (PV) solar auctions across five countries, demonstrating his adeptness in guiding projects from conception to fruition. His leadership was pivotal in establishing renowned Renewable Energy platforms such as Nara Solar and Hinode Energy, which are collaborative ventures between GIG/Macquarie and Univergy Solar, respectively.

In 2012, José Antonio pioneered the Renewable Energy business in Japan, marking a significant milestone by promoting projects totaling 3GW. This endeavor positioned him as one of the forerunners in a competitive market, showcasing his ability to navigate and succeed in challenging environments.

In the last year and a half, Nozomi Energy has successfully built a portfolio of 800MW including 400 MW of operational projects and 100 MW of BESS winners of 2024 LTDA.

Before his current role at Nozomi Energy, José Antonio served as the President and CEO of Hinode Energy.
