I graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology with a Master's degree in Engineering, Applied Chemistry in 1990. I then joined Nippon Oil Corporation where I was assigned to Central Technical Research Laboratory. Over the years, I played a key role in the development of petroleum refining technologies, working across various technical sections, and even undertaking an overseas assignment in Saudi Arabia to conduct test
operations on developed processes. In 2009, I completed the Executive Management Program at the University of Tokyo. In 2010, I earned a Doctorate from Kagoshima University in Material Science and Production Engineering. Since 2016, I have led the Central Technical Research Laboratory as General Manager. I was appointed as Senior Vice President of ENEOS Corporation in 2022, and CTO of ENEOS Holdings, Inc. in 2024.
