Prof. Tatsuo Masuda
Professor Kaishi Professional University
Tatsuo Masuda is professor at Kaishi Professional University (Niigata, Japan) on history, business innovation and entrepreneurship. He is also teaching at Akita International University on International Dynamics as select professor. In business, he serves as chairman of FairCourt Capital in London (strategic consultancy firm), auditor of SOC Corporation in Tokyo (fuse manufacturer), and strategic committee member of Elion House in Singapore (technology venture). He taught at the NUCB Business School, the Tokyo Institute of Technology and Paris University-Dauphine. He has extensive careers in energy as director of the International Energy Agency and vice president of Japan National Oil Corporation. Prior to this, he assumed several posts related with energy and industrial policy in METI. Currently, he is strongly interested in a new dimension of energy-climate technologies and policies, and contributes to the World Economic Forum as Expert Network member, the World Federation of Scientists as panel member and the Windsor Energy Group as international panel member.
